Ce ntral image: Donald Trump and Homer Simpson Why is it there?  The animated Donald Trump standing with Homer Simpson shows both that The Simpsons’ joke of Trump being inaugurated came true, along with Trump standing at the podium in the Simpsons’ animated style infer that is still a part of the cartoon and not actually happening. Standalone : “7 dead in tram horror” Why is it there?  It is a segment that doesn’t relate in any way to the main news story, it is used inform and entice the audience to look at other news stories. Androgyny: Neither clearly masculine or feminine Eurithmics; A thorn in my side Are they performing a gender? Yes, in the video there are multiple different forms of gender represented, there is the traditionally masculine biker gang members with tattoos, leather and studs, there are traditionally feminine party goers with big hair, dresses and make-up, as well as this Annie Lennox is portraying an androgynous role, she is doing this by having traditionally masculine aspects like, short hair and a suit, but also having traditional feminine aspects like make-up and a feminine voice, Eurithmis may have done this to create a mystery behind the main feature of the music video (Annie Lennox) so it is easier to relate to a wider audience. What is the audiences perception of the video?
