    Why is it there? The animated Donald Trump standing with Homer Simpson shows both that The Simpsons’ joke of Trump being inaugurated came true, along with Trump standing at the podium in the Simpsons’ animated style infer that is still a part of the cartoon and not actually happening.
  • Standalone: “7 dead in tram horror”
    Why is it there? It is a segment that doesn’t relate in any way to the main news story, it is used inform and entice the audience to look at other news stories.
  • Strap line: D’OH
    Why is it there? It implies that Donald Trumps inauguration as president was a mistake, as well as this it also infers The Sun’s political stance on the issue.
  • Masthead: The Sun
    Why is it there? So the newspaper is easily identifiable as a Red top newspaper and The Sun.
  • Headline: 16 years after joke…
    Why is it there? It relates to trumps inauguration as Fox predicted it as a joke, it suggests the situation is comical and it is not to be taken seriously.
  • Pull Quote: “Inherited quite a budget crunch from president Trump”
    Why is it there? The quote by Lisa Simpson is meant to pull in the viewers as it written by a person outside the newspaper, in this context is a piece of fiction by fox news written as a joke.

    Why is it there?  The James Beal section is used to catch the readers attention, as well as  being used to draw the reader into the newspaper
  • Subheadings:  The stage is set Homer Simpson with president to be Trump                                     Why is it there? It represents the key concepts in the newspaper, Trump being inaugurated as president of the USA, and the joke The Simpsons made 16 years prior
