Audience Research: 30-49 year old

30 to 49 year olds were born between 1970 to 1989, they generally fall into the Gen X generation which would have witnessed events such as the fall of the Berlin wall in November of 1991, The end of the Cold war (1947 – 1991), the AIDS crisis and the formation of the MTV and Music videos on the 1st of August 1981

At the time of the 2011 Census, the median age for the population of England and Wales was 39 years.

30 to 49 year olds make up 25% of Twitter's current users, as well as this 78% percent of US adults use facebook, and 85% use YouTube. The second most popular social media site used by 30-49 year old is Linked-in.
