Responses are expected to explore examples from both front pages of the ways in which media language is used to construct viewpoints and ideologies 

When answering the question be unbiased and add analysis, if greater emphasis or limited analysis is placed on one aspect it may bring it to Band 3

Be aware of the language of the question

Responses may be informed by relevant theories such as semiotics, however use of theories isn't required to access higher bands, responses in higher bands will explore media language, viewpoints and ideologies in detail.
